Applications must be inWash- ingtoo, D. C., by Feb. 1, 1972,+ and processing normally takes about a month at the Seattle, Wash. Recruiting Station. Full-time male students in their junior year of college, who will be at least 17 when applying and not more than27/2 years of age when commissioned may apply for the ROC Program. Applicants must be U. S. citi- zens. If a man is selected for the Navy ROC Program, he willearn time in serviceforpaypurposes while attending college, but is not required to attend Naval Re- serve drills or meetings. He will complete two eight week summer training sessions at Newport, R. I., prior to being commissioned as a naval offi- cer. Or, call (206) 624-4337 and ask for Officer Programs. Mon-Dak Mixers Celebrate Season The Moo-Dak Mixers square- dance club held a Christmas party at the VFW Club Sunday. A ham and tzwkey dinner was served buffet style and there was dancing following the meal for the 75 present. Guests of clubs were from Circle, Poplar and Glendlve. Don Linthicum, Bill Neiss and Leo Fischer won the game prizes. Bob Gregg called a few aml gave Dean Nelson, the regular caller, a chance to join in the damcirg. The dancing was all women's choice, with the ladies getting a jump on Sady Hawkins day. There was a gift exchare af- ter the dancing. The club also presented Jean and DeanNelson with a gift of appreciation. There will be a New Years Eve Square Dance at Wibaux, with Ed Hart doing the calling. The next meeting of the Mon- Dak Mixers will be Jan. 9 at 6 p.m. with lunch following the dancing. Bea Fischer, reporter County Delegates Attend Meeting The National FarmersOrgan- izatioo held their national con- ventioo in Kansas City, Mo., Dec. 15, 16 and 17 with an array of speakers, including Ralph Na- der, Nicholas Johnson of the FCC and Senator George Mc, Govern, Senator Hubert Hum- phrey, Senator Robert Dale and Senator Edwin Muskie. The three day convention at- tracted some 12000 delegates from 48 states. Orin Lee Stale:/ was re-elected as president of the orgarzation. Vice President Erhard Plsten r6signed his position, to be replaced by De- Von Woodland of the State of Washirgton by vote of the dele- gates. All national board direc- tors were seated at the conven- tion, including Montana's two directors, Leif Kapperud of Gil- ford and Adam Sweitzer of Gey- ser.
