In earlier, non - conference ay, the Eagles were handicap- ped with shooting difficulties, but seemed to conquer them in this weekend' s games. Friday night, Sidney played Hardin in a wildly exciting, close game. With one second left to play, and the score fled at 62 all, Sidney's Tom Lorenz went to the free throw line. When his first shot missed, it seemed as if the game might have to go in- to overtime. But, he made the second free throw and tile game ended 63 - 62. Ray Wings Win Over Warriors The Ray Jays of North Dakota picked up their first win of the season by dumping the Fairview Warriors 66-52 in Friday night nonconference basketball ac- tion.
