HARRY LIPSIEA I SIDNEY HERALD A pair of Savage football players earned Class C Six- man All-State honors for their efforts this season. Chris Reynolds earned sec- ond team honors on offense and defense while Shay Stan- ford made the second team for his work on special teams. Reynolds led the Warriors in rushing and receiving. The multi-dimensional ath- lete finished with 745 yards and eight scores on the ground. At receiver, he fin- ished with 544 yards and eight touchdowns on 32 catches. The sophomore completed 29 passes for 484 yards and seven touchdowns through the air. On defense, Reynolds recorded 103 tackles includ- ing 50 solo stops. The defen- sive back had seven intercep- tions and two fumble recov- eries. "No one works harder than Chris. He truly deserves this recognition," Savage coach Ben Roberts said.
