This unique aspect of the program eases the financial stress that may be encountered while a woman is recovering from a mastectomy - less stress promotes the healing process. The 14 sites associated with the program and the network of health care providers who see the women want nothing more than to spread the word! That is where the quilt comes in as a project to spread knowl- edge of this program by get- ting the word out to women throughout the state. This trav- eling quilt display was made in May 2002 when each site made a quilt block along with one for the Montana State Health De- partment and the CDC which funds the program. It was pieced together and has been on the road since then to raise public awareness. Each of the 14 sites for MBCHP will have a chance to display the quilt in their coun- ties for six weeks. So far it has been displayed in Wibaux, Ter- ry Glendive, Baker and in Sid- ney at the Ethnic Christmas. Sidney Saddle Club announces meeting The Sidney Saddle Club Wznick's shop.
