Registration begins at 3 p.m., and dinner starts at 4 p.m. Bob Dolajak, Mandan, N.D., will provide music for dancing from6-9 p.m. All singles are wel- come. Monday, Aug. 4 • Back to school registration for Sidney students through eighth grade is 8 a.m. to noon and 1-3 p.m. High school students need to call the high school, 433-2330, for registration times. • Pella Lutheran Church will have Vacation Day Camp Aug. 4-8 for children 4 through sixth grade. Pre-registration is required by July 25 for age 4 through kindergarten. There is no charge. Call 433-3350 for more information. • The Sidney School Board will have its PR and personnel com- mittee meeting at 6:30 p.m. at West Side School. The curriculum and policy and' the building and grounds committees will also meet during the night. Tuesday, Aug. 5 • Immunization clinic is from 1-4 p.m. at the Richland County Health Department. • The Sidney School Board's finance committee will meet at 7 p.m at West Side School. The transportation committee will meet after the finance meeting. Wednesday, Aug. 6 • Bingo is scheduled at the VFW Hall. Early bird starts at 6:45 p.m. No smoking is allowed in the hall. There will be a 15- minute break during the session. Thursday, Aug. 7 • Moose has bingo at 7 p.m. Early bird is 6:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8 • Bonnie Curran, service officer for the Montana Veterans Affairs Division, will be at the Sidney Job Service from 1:30-2:30 p.m. She will be available to assist veterans and their dependents concerning veteran benefits. • An area youth rally is scheduled at 7 p.m. at the Yellowstone Com- munity Church in Savage. Monday, Aug. 11 • Ladies Auxiliary VFW meeting is at 7 p.m. in the VFW Hall. • The dial gauge on pressure canners may be checked for accu- racy at the Richland County Extension Office. This should be done every few years to ensure safe homecanned products. Call 433-1206 for more information about this free service. Tuesday, Aug. 12 • The Sugar Valley Theatre Company will meet at Footers Restau- rant at 7 p.m. Shakespeare in the Park and other community theatre activities will be discussed. Sidney cheerleaders hosted a carnival Friday to raise money for camp in Billings to be held Aug. 13-14. "It is just for kids. We're having (un while raising money," Chelsea Martini, cheerleader, said. Cheerleaders had a car wash and are looking forward to a bake sale and a one-day cheer camp for youngsters to raise more money. "Camp costs $150 per person. We each go around to different businesses and ask them to help us out. The carnival is in full swing from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m." Molly Helm, cheerleader, said. Sidney Adult Educnllon Program The Sidney Adult Education Program is look- ing for individuals in the community interested in teaching a class during the 2003-2004 year. The program offers interesting and relevant classes for members in Sidney and the sur- rounding area. Instructors determine the class they want to teach, can use the Sidney High School facility if needed, set the hours and peri- od of time they meet with their class, and are paid hourly for their service.
