The sec- ond annual Sidney Summer Fest is taking place in Sidney on July 4-5 at the Richland County Fair- grounds. The headline band, Starship, will perform July 5. Starship is one of just a handful of bands inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band has had six number one hits, including "'We Built This City" and "Sara." The Southern Rock Allstars. one of the best touring southern rock bands in America, is playing both July 4-5. Made up of the fl)unding member of Molly Hatchett, Blackfoot and Rossing- ton Band, these journeymen rock- ers play all the great hits of Molly Hatchett, Blackfoot and Lynard Skynard. A tribute to IIIIII Police beat The Sidney Police Depart- ment arrested Evan J. Baumeis- ter, 18, Sidney, on authority of a warrant from Sidney City Court. The warrant was for failure to meet court orders. Bond was set at $500. Police received a theft report from Sidney Health Center Extended Care April 25. A fanny pack containing medication and personal items was believed stolen around 9 p.m. April 24. Upon investigation, police charged Alan R. Ponton, 25, Sidney, with misdemeanor theft.
